大悟与麗奈的兒子翼在一次飛機測試的途中回到了古代，电影并被一幫村民救起。企圖支配黑暗的杜古馬、电影大達拿和我龍操縱怪獸佐蒙多展開襲擊村落的計劃。翼和村民準備對抗怪獸的入侵……一面倒防守的村民的身邊出現了一位旅途中的勇士馬巴，他手持的青銅製Sparklance令翼覺得很面善，認為這就是令其父親大悟變身成巨人Sparklance，當他拿起這東西集中精神後，竟變身成為超人迪加！但身材不高又沒有能量，所以不能打敗怪獸，而且能量不足很快就變回人。黑暗魔神杜古呼終於醒來了，與怪獸一起襲擊村落……翼難道不是光之巨人的傳人？那真正的傳人究竟會是誰？光之巨人最終能否復活……
