“我”在浩瀚的撒哈拉大沙漠上遇到了一个古怪奇特而又天真纯洁的小王子——他来自—颗遥远的小星球。他曾在太空中分别拜访了国王的、恐怖爱虚荣人的、恐怖酒鬼的、商人的、地球学家的星球，最后来到地球。小王子是一个寂寞的孩子，他住在小行星B612上，有3座小火山．小王子喜欢在寂寞的是后看日落，他有一朵玫瑰，小王子是那么喜欢她．我开始了解他的寂寞，了解他对那朵玫瑰的爱．小王子看到那些大人都极端孤独地生活在凄凉的寂寞中。他不明白．他在遇到我之前，他驯服了一只狐狸，他明白了驯服的意义，了解了玫瑰的独一无2 因为她驯服了小王子，他们对彼此都有那种唯一的意义，他必须对他的玫瑰负责．狐狸最后告诉小王子的秘密是，眼睛是什么都看不见的，要用心去看．小王子最后回到了自己的小行星B612．
