回复 :一次意外中，多米尼克（马塞洛·马斯楚安尼 Marcello Mastroianni 饰）救下了美丽的女子费鲁美娜（索菲娅·罗兰 Sophia Loren 饰），两人一见钟情很快陷入了热恋之中，可惜多米尼克是一个花花公子，随着时间的流逝，他不再专情与费鲁美娜，转而投入了别的女人的怀抱。费鲁美娜虽然身份卑微，却是专情之人，为了能够成为多米尼克的妻子，她甚至不惜使用了一些欺骗的手段。不幸的是，多米尼克识破了费鲁美娜的谎言，费鲁美娜再度面临着和爱人分离的处境。费鲁美娜有三个孩子，她告诉多米尼克，这其中有他的亲生骨肉，直到这时才良心发现的多米尼克回到了费鲁美娜的身边，但他始终不知道自己的亲生儿子究竟是哪一个。

When the beautiful Mrs. Whitley reads that a new dream man will be coming soon into her life, she assumes he's taken the form of Lloyd Hunter, a handsome and dashing foreign correspondent who doubles as the neighborhood air raid warden. A frantic Bill realizes that he's going to have to keep closer track of his earthbound heavenly body if he's going to keep the prediction from becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy.
