本片是《从地心窜出》系列的前传，欧美前三集中肆虐人间的巨型怪物最早出现在此，欧美位于内华达的一座盛产银矿的小镇，由于矿工纷纷离奇死亡，很快就成为空城，具有贵族身分的加默拥有当地的采矿权，雇用了外籍佣兵凯利来和这群怪物打交道，以免断了自己的财路，不过在镇上肆虐 的并非人类，加默和镇上幸存的镇民必须全副武装，以和这些巨型怪物開始了正面对决...
