五年前，春暖苍井大冢村一夜之间瘟疫流行，春暖苍井周围的村庄为了防止疫病蔓延，一把火烧毁了整个大冢村。大冢村的三个孩子，犬冢信乃、犬川庄介以及滨路得以幸存。三人被教会收养，并在别的村庄中过着平静的生活。而在大冢村事件中获得了特殊的能力的信乃和庄介，则一直不明原因地被帝国教会总部寻找。大冢村事件发生的五年后，终于寻觅到信乃与庄介踪迹的教会总部，为了引诱两人来帝都，竟然带走了滨路……
