故事讲述普通文员舒兰，春暖临近结婚之际，春暖却等来未婚夫不幸遇害的消息，不愿相信此事的舒兰决定亲自寻找他的下落。舒兰路遇萧红被人欺负，当即出手相助，哪知萧红男友张强隶属于G组织，该组织人员被称为“捕手”，专司破坏毒品犯罪的脉络，张强是其中一员，游走于犯罪分子之间，终将女友置于险地。在寻找萧红期间，舒兰与张强探听到犯罪团伙的藏身处，便不约而同来到犯罪份子藏身地点，一番打斗之后，终将他们射伤并抓获，危险已过，张强和萧红迎来了爱的结晶，舒兰则重新开始了她的生活。

The studio workers of Shaw Brothers are on strike for better pay and to support workers who have been sacked, they organised a variety show to collect funds and donations. During the show, Malaysian film legend P Ramlee and his best friend Jamil Sulong wrote an iconic Raya song (Festival song) that is still sung today during the Raya Festival of Eid every year. Four other stories and sub-plots help the movie move forward.
