靳子勋是位大学毕学生，亚洲高不成低不就，亚洲迟迟没有找到工作，父亲帮他某了一个公司职员的差事，在公司认识了女秘书李秀珍，后来两人不顾父亲跟继母的反对同居了，因为子勋个性过于强烈，坏脾气让他吃了不少亏，工作也丢了，但可喜的是秀珍怀了孩子，即使这样两个人还是幸福的生活。后来子勋被查出血癌，秀珍只好到唱片公司工作，赚取医药费，但于事无补，子勋还是走了。
