《全民阅读大会·2023年度中国好书》不仅是对2023年度上榜好书的发布，宅男也是对中国社会文化向心力、宅男传承力、影响力、创造力的呈现。节目通过“故事的力量”、“生命的召唤”、“文明的魅力”、“教育的真谛”、“时代的写真”、“思想的引领”六大篇章，揭晓年度“主题出版类”、“人文社科类”、“文学艺术类”、“科普生活类”、“少儿类”及“年度荣誉”上榜好书。对“中国好书”获奖图书进行盘点和分享，通过短片、演讲、舞蹈、访谈等多种艺术表现形式，呈现书中世界，营造浓厚的书香氛围，推动全民阅读。
