五百年前的至尊宝，设局在水帘洞放下金箍，设局没有成为齐天大圣，孤身一人去营救被牛魔王逼迫 成亲的紫霞，菩提祖师在至尊宝命悬一线之际，出手制服牛魔王，至尊宝同紫霞有情人终得眷属。五百年后，至尊宝多活了百年，同紫霞在一起的日子，是那样的平凡、幸福。有一天，紫霞不见，至尊宝在寻找紫霞的过程中，慢慢知晓了这百年平凡幸福的背后，竟有着自己不曾知晓的真相。
