新加坡首部以校园民谣为题材的纪录片，亚洲娓娓叙述了新加坡关闭华校之后 ，亚洲海外华侨在失语的处境中创作自己的歌。纪录片搜集珍贵的档案资料，以一首悦耳的歌曲，追溯七八十年代的诗乐与新谣（新加坡年轻人自创歌谣），重温了着短暂但亮丽的音乐篇章，以及从边缘迈向主流并走入历史的过程。
