回复 :香港庙街，鱼龙混杂。自幼在这里长大的阿庙（郑伊健 饰）见识生活的残酷种种，父亲在他很小时被人当街砍死，母亲靠唱黄色歌曲养活儿子。年轻帅气且重义气的阿庙拥有诸多追求者，更有螃蟹（葛民辉 饰）这样一个好朋友。阿庙生日那天，他在深圳放烟火时结识了美丽的富家女小篆（吴倩莲 饰）。当晚，小篆被流氓骚扰，阿庙出手相救杀死流氓，因此入狱四年。四年后，阿庙出狱，此时小篆已经成为电台的DJ。通过电波，这两个互有好感的年轻人重新取得联系。然而他们毕竟身份悬殊，阿庙在小篆父亲的公司谋得一分职位，却无法适应这种所谓上流社会的生活。小篆的父亲为了让女儿和这个“小流氓”分手，不惜采取陷害的手段。阿庙因此被俘债务，甚至因此与庙街的黑道发生冲突。
