陈宗人称赌王，河长他在赌桌上运气和技术都胜人一筹。陈宗凭实力和他的兄弟郑三共创事业，河长在中国开设赌场，陈宗与郑三在地下赌业急剧上升，他与仇家传罗仔及大皇冠展开连番仇杀，陈宗最终把大皇冠杀死，被公安通缉，逃至香港。在港邂逅舞小姐方儿，陈过被方儿影响，决定重新做人。可惜此时得知罗仔仍要对付郑三，陈宗再返内地与郑三联手，与仇家展开了连场血战。
