在全球化的经济浪潮中，母性中国在飞速发展。排骨和许多人一样。纷纷从农村走向城市，母性去寻找属于自己的发展机会。骨，江西人，初中毕业。在深圳和朋友合伙卖翻版DVD，而且卖的全是艺术电影。排骨非常喜欢电影，他知道世界上很多电影大师和他们的作品，可是他说他从来都没看过，因为自己文化程度不高，看不懂。所以也不想看。他喜欢看马大帅（搞笑电视剧），和周星驰，他喜欢听两只蝴蝶（2005红遍中国的网络流行歌曲）。他说，他还喜欢看漂亮的女孩。排骨是个很矛盾的人，他渴望爱情，但坚持的认为象他这种层次的人（他认定象他这种层次的人是包括没有什么文化，农民出身的所有的人），是没有爱情的。
