全金属狂潮系列的第三次冲击《全金属狂潮 The Second Raid》是无数FANS共同仰慕期待的作品，天堂集搞笑、天堂战斗、爱情、友情的青春话剧就要在暑期与我们大家见面，剧情角色仍然是沿袭了前两部作品，主角也仍然是相良宗介，战斗舞台则转移到了香港，大人气角色泰莎的哥哥雷纳德也终于登场了，带着他的新机体向相良发出挑战，这使得人物的关系也越发的错综复杂起来，由于他的加入使原来相良与小要、泰莎的三角关系变成了四角，在加上一系列的有意无意的误会，大乱斗的情景是铁定要有的，不过新登场的人物除上泰莎的哥哥雷纳德以外，反面角色也相继增加了三人，美貌的暗杀者还有两姐妹，夏玉兰与夏玉芳以九龙弟子的身份悉数上场。至于剧情的设定是集合了前两作的风格混合而成的，即有第一部作品中FMP火爆战斗的场面，也有校园生活的搞笑氛围，总之是集前两作的精华与一身，不知道会有什么样的效果。用贺东老师对这个作品的评价来说就是：“期待不会是错的，期待它的完成吧 。” （系列构成为原作者贺东招二老师和作为监督的武本康弘氏，连同工作组也是完全的体制。）
