秘密镇是阿拉斯加一个偏远的小镇，跟春这里的人们酷爱冰球，跟春小镇上有一支援棒的冰球队，只是他们不知道自己有多棒。杂志上说他们有全国第一流的实力，所以著名的”勇士队“要来与他们比赛。偏在这时队中的主力被个年轻人顶替了。主力于是想尽办法要重新归队，此时来采访的体育记者又与主力的妻子眉来眼去。随着比赛临近，小镇日益变成一个大马戏场，人人都卖力地在其中扮演着角色，突然有消息说”勇士队”不来了……
