李宝英在出演KBS《亲爱的你》、草原 SBS《薯童谣》、草原KBS《再见先生》以后，又一次成为女主角，与她演对手戏的搭当是出演过SBS《时尚风云70年代》朱镇模。 《游戏女王》描述的是逐渐衰退的宾馆老总的女儿-李宝英和M&A专家朱镇模在经历百般坎坷之后，两人坠入爱河的故事。同时以酒店经营承继权展开明争暗斗环绕着剧情的发展。
