桂生（欧阳震华 饰）的新助理是名叫亚玉（钟淑慧 饰）的女子。亚玉个性温婉又聪慧善良，僵尸随着时间的推移，僵尸桂生渐渐爱上了她。虽然桂生已有妻室，但他还是和亚玉开始了同居生活。很快，桂生的妻子绮文（郑艳丽 饰）就发现了丈夫的不对劲，然而，当她得知了亚玉的存在后，反而也搬进了桂生和亚玉的家里，开始了三人同住的生活。 平日里，亚玉处处讨好绮文，更大方的将桂生同绮文共享，最终，绮文接受了亚玉的存在，也接受了三人同居的扭曲生活。然而，桂生一直都没有打消同绮文离婚的念头，得知了丈夫的所思所想，绝望的绮文精神崩溃了

回复 :一部纯粹表现大陆黄土高原风味的文学电影，由大陆导演黄建新执导，台湾演员张世担纲扮演男主角五魁。全片制作严谨，阐事手法亦颇有味道，可惜片中很多仪式性的场面安排却有着《大红灯笼高高挂》的浓厚影子，使本片的艺术价值打了不少折扣。
