阿尔扎诺帝国帝国魔术学院的兼职讲师格伦·勒达斯是假自习之名行打瞌睡之实的惯犯。就算难得站上了讲台，芙蓉他也是专搞直接把课本钉在黑板上之类的花招，芙蓉耍废的程度连学生也不以为然。被这样的格伦惹恼的学生──有着“师见愁”之名的希丝缇娜·菲伊贝鲁向他提出了决斗。结果令人遗憾地，格伦以悬殊的差距吞下了败战……然而学校发生了前所未有的恐怖事件，学生也无一幸免地受到了波及。“不许伤害我的学生！”如此说的格伦于此时发挥了真正的本领！
