回复 :经过厚生省官员白鸟圭辅（仲村亨 饰）和东城大学附属医院心理治疗内科的医生田口公平（伊藤淳史 饰）的全力奔走，日本终于引进了首台新型核磁共振成像（MRI）仪器“利维坦”。与此同时，某栋高级别墅地下室内，九人离奇死亡，其中则是厚生省中唯一支持白鸟引进利维坦的船桥审议官。高傲张扬的海归教授东堂文昭（生瀬胜久 饰）李勇刚组装好的利维坦查明死因，却也让白鸟对其产生怀疑。另一方面，在Ai中心举行研讨会前不久，田口收到一封威胁摧毁三头犬之塔——利维坦的恐吓信。在美丽记者别宫叶子（桐谷美玲 饰）的协助下，田口察觉这一系列事件很可能是对白鸟怀恨在心的樱宫堇（栗山千明 饰）所为。时间一分一秒流逝，利维坦和Ai中心迎来吉凶莫测的关键时刻……
