曹保山金榜得中，上帝昭雪平反了苍娃冤案。正值举家欢度中秋节之际，上帝已被削职为民的贪官钱世理贿赂了刑部马尚书，伪陈皇上，以莫须有的罪名将曹保山和张氏解京问成死罪。生死攸关之际，苦劝其母报案自首的苍娃，在都御史府告倒了马尚书和钱世理，解救兄嫂幸免一死。但苍娃却因“一张利口告倒两各朝廷命官”之罪，被判发配玉门关苦役三年。
