算法是一种新型的数字物种，好汉它已经在无形之中融入了我们的日常生活，好汉为我们生活的方方面面带来了便捷。但是我们不禁要问：如果计算机的算法计算失误了，我们该怎么办？人类可以将重大的决定权转交给数据科学家口中“隐藏在数学里的观点”来处理吗？我们该如何防止算数上的失误、找出问题代码以及技术上的问题呢？人类是否可以比算法更准确、更先进呢？人类将如何在算法年代中努力获得生存？本片将带着这些质疑，观察人类将如何试图夺回控制权，并将算法应用于将世界变得更好，而不是朝着更糟的方向发展。
