上世纪二十年代，中国处于军阀混战时期，西南军阀派系之间的割据争端尤为严重。靳非鱼是韩军大将，与燕军交战时身受重伤，被女医燕清澄所救，两人相恋，但非鱼不知清澄就是燕督军的女儿。之后非鱼奉命替义父韩中天参加燕军举行的比武招亲，赢娶燕督军的千金，却发现千金就是他朝思暮想的爱人……

It will not be a historical film since colonisation as well as slave trade are still happening today - in a modified way, a more industrial, massive and more global fashion than a hundred years ago.
