张二辉（郭晋安 饰）是典型的香港人，求国拼搏上进，求国总希望在最短的时间内赚到最多的钱。新来的女秘书阿bee（佘诗曼 饰）俏丽可人，二辉看她身上衣物不似寻常人家，误以为她是老板情妇。搞了一个大乌龙后发现原来她是老板的千金，来公司当女秘书是为了从低做起，不靠父荫生存。如同所有爱情的起源一样，他们成为了斗气冤家。然而天意弄人，这边二辉的爷爷由于健康状况不佳，渴望孙子回上海寻找当年父亲抛弃的妻儿；那边阿bee的父亲由于生意失败，欲利用阿bee跟对手儿子联婚改变公司危机。这对情人的关系岌岌可危……
