一九七六年，欧洲二十岁的知识青年何再青回到阔别两年的城市，欧洲而何再青的人生理想是拥有一家什么都有什么都卖、童叟无欺的百货商店。于是他在追求梦想的道路上努力拼搏，也遇到了自己生命中的妻子，生意也越做越大。十五年后，何再青的双洲集团在全国八个省拥有100家商场，但也迎来了其他股东联手打压他的危机，最终他顶住压力，力挽狂澜，保住了双洲集团的声誉和财富。
