元宫茜（川上友子 配音）本是一名平凡的女高中生，日韩一天放学后，日韩小茜和同级生森村天真（关智一 配音）、流山诗纹（宫田幸季 配音）一起跌入了一座古井之中，穿越到了名为“京”的异世界里。在这里，小茜遇见了星之一族的公主藤姬，藤姬告诉小茜，她的真实身份是拥有龙神之力的神子，也是唯一能够守护和拯救京都的存在。要激发小茜体内的龙神之力，必须集齐为她而生的“八叶”，天真和诗纹正是其中之二。除此之外还有沉默稳重的源赖久（三木真一郎 配音）、活泼可爱的祈（高桥直纯 配音）、理性聪慧的藤原鹰通（中原茂 配音）、轻浮但富有魅力的橘友雅（井上和彦 配音）、内向温和的永泉（保志总一朗 配音）和阴阳师安倍泰明（石田彰 配音）。

She questions whether the Mughals were trying to impose their own religion of Islam or indeed whether they were open to the religion and art of the country they were trying to conquer; and she discovers some of the 33,000 sacred temples hewn from rock, sandstone and marble in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
