回复 :聪慧而又时尚的师范毕业生曾子颖，阴差阳错的来到了北部湾海港漂浮小学当了名小学老师，想要尽快调回大城市的她，无奈之下只得答应镇长，到大海中一座几乎没有人烟的孤岛去教学一段。岛上只有一个叫游游的学生，他和为了保护这里的候鸟和自然环境而绝不搬迁的爷爷生活。因为游游常年不与外界交流，大家都以为游游是一个哑巴。一心要让经济腾飞的镇长要铲掉候鸟的家园红树林建虾塘，而阿公坚持认为红树林就是白鹭的家园，要是毁了红树林，也就彻底地毁了候鸟白鹭的家，阿公一家几代人都在维护着这个小岛，不能让这些（鹤）无家可归。曾子颖的到来，并没引起游游的热情，相反师生二人却天天为了上课面红耳赤。但慢慢的曾老师发现了游游的很多优点，特别是对白鹭鸟和大自然的感情。曾老师也逐渐地被感染了，两人建立起了很深的感情。在曾老师离开时候，游游大声而又很艰难地背诵出了“两个黄鹂鸣翠柳，一行白鹭上青天……”。此时的曾老师再也割舍不下了“哑吧”学生游游和岛上的一切……
