由爱奇艺、全球上海视骊与南派泛娱联合出品的《老九门》番外之二月红已于近日在北京怀柔开机，全球原著作者南派三叔出席了开机仪式，并正式宣布张艺兴将在番外篇中继续饰演二月红一角。据透露，该片是南派三叔为二月红量身打造的专属传记，是原汁原味的南派作品，主演张艺兴也将演绎大量下斗技巧，番外全程高能。此次开拍的《老九门》番外之二月红是《老九门》人物系列番外的开篇，也是《老九门》系列最重要的番外篇。该系列番外是南派三叔独家定制的内容，除二月红篇之外、还包括解九爷、陈皮阿四、以及霍锦惜三部番外篇。

It is more memorable than Julien Duvivier's earlier silent version of 1925, also named Poil de Carotte.The part of Poil de Carotte was played by 11 year old Robert Lynen, who was alleged to have been discovered whilst walking down the Champs-Elysées in Paris. Lynen is totally captivating and the film made him an instant star, launching what looked like becoming a very promising film career – until he was shot dead whilst fighting against the Germans in 1944. Harry Baur, a legendary stage and film actor (who also died during World War II, allegedly at the hands of the Gestapo), also turns in a typically fine performance. The reconciliation between father and son at the end of the film provides its most enduring image, enough to melt the heart of all but the most stoical of spectators.
