《一路不消停》讲述了情场、剩女工作双失意的“话痨”司机王德福，剩女屡次碰壁，不受待见，决心“南漂”潇洒走一回的旅程中，目睹赵大雷以一敌众的英勇身姿，认为自己交到了能“拿得出手”的朋友，决定带上赵大雷和自己一路同行时发生了一系列惊险、爆笑的奇遇故事。
