桐人为了调查枪与钢铁的VRMMO「Gun Gale Online」里所发生的“死枪”事件而登陆了该游戏。桐人将自己在ALO里的游戏转移到GGO里后，日韩虽然遇上了乍看之下很容易被误认为是美少女角色的麻烦，日韩但在经过狙击手少女诗乃的引导之后，顺利参加了决定最强枪手的PvP淘汰 赛“BoB”。桐人在这个被枪支配的世界里，成为了唯一使用光剑战斗，并不断在“BoB”里获胜的知名角色。他独特的战斗方式成为了玩家间讨论的焦点，知名度也不断上升。次日，隔天举办的“BoB”正式大赛开始了。在聚集了许多强敌的“多人大混战”中，“死枪”终于现出身影。“死枪”究竟是什么人？“虚拟世界”真的能对“真实世界”产生影响吗？桐人即将独自挑战“死枪”！

回复 :In this season, the show went back to airing one new episode a week, but stayed in the hour-length format, filling up the second half-hour with episodes from previous seasons and some of the prime-time specials from the 1980s. This entire season, along with the second half of season 6, is available on Garfield and Friends Volume 5 DVD set. Also worth noting is that here, a new theme song was added that was written by J.R. Johnston and Neil Panton. The theme was sung by J.R. Johnston. This theme song was not shown internationally, and as a result, it does not appear on the DVDs (although Garfield's quotations are kept intact). This new introduction sequence used most clips from Seasons 5-7 and a few from the first two seasons, as well as Garfield in Paradise and Garfield's Feline Fantasies. The episodes stopped using a few seconds of the theme playing in the episode title cards after season seven's fourth episode; music from the episodes were used in the title cards until the show ended, even though season six used music from some of their episodes.
